It Didn’t Take Long For Herman Cain To Say Something Stupid

Republican Presidential candidate Herman Cain didn’t take long after his latest rise into the limelight to up and say something stupid.

This now proves that Cain is a bona fide politician as putting one’s foot in one’s mouth is part of the territory. What was Cain’s statement that is about as brilliant as a 2 watt bulb? The professional mathematician and business exec stated on an edition of the CNN show “Situation Room” that African Americans are “brainwashed” to vote Democratic.

Brainwashed? What is it with these politicians nowadays insulting the people? Just today President Obama called Americans “soft”.

Cain went on to say, “Many African Americans have been brainwashed into not being open minded not even considering a conservative point of view,”. Although Mr. Cain did say later that he found 50 percent of African Americans open minded.

Okay, he’s a professional mathematician, he provided his scientific mind to the Navy’s ballistic programs but where did he suddenly become an expert in the psychological and mental makeup of 40 million people? Brainwashed is too harsh and derogatory a word to put on the American People no matter what color they are. He as an African American himself should know full well that up until the mid 1970s most African Americans were very conservative. Many still are. However due to constant suppression from within and without their community as well as the revelations that the CIA and other government based institutions performed horrific experiments on them, willfully subjected these people to any number of atrocities and done so under conservative administrations. The African American communities have been preyed upon by enemies within the US and from without. Their so called aversion to the Republican Party is ironic as over a century ago they were solid members of the Republican Party thanks to Abraham Lincoln. Why they turned away from the Republican Party is due to attacks and predation by the criminals who gained control of that party and did the same not only to African Americans but others as well.

To say the African Americans are brainwashed is a weak and irresponsible position to take as though Mr. Cain considers himself on some high post that sees things more clearly, better than others.

Cain went on to mention how he’d been insulted and called names for being a conservative and an African American. He needs to realize that he’s part of a political collective that hasn’t been welcoming to others of his race and culture due to those within the party who are hostile and predatory to them. Staying at arm’s length isn’t brainwashing it’s common sense.

When the Republican Party takes the responsibility to clean out its ranks from the greedy, hostile, and to act as though African Americans should be included and there won’t be a problem. However, the same problem can equally be said of the Democratic Party as it needs to clean out its ranks as well.

No Mr. Cain, African Americans aren’t brainwashed, they’re just not going to toss caution to the wind because someone wearing a suit and tie with a lot of money decides he’s now a professional evaluator of human behavior.

  1. This is a stupid thing to say? How? What do you call it when 95% of blacks, 95% of teachers, 95% of lawyers, 95% of professors, 95% of artists, 95% of entertainers all vote for the Democrats, even though they have been wrecking the country with failed policies for over sixty years?

Maybe brainwashed is a bit harsh and derogatory. But he’s right! Not just about black people but white people as well. We all have been dumbed down and set against each other. And he could be generous about the percentage of people who are willing to entertain a point of view not ordained by the thought police. If we want this democracy thing to work we’ve got to grow some brain cells and stop being suckered into meaningless debates. In my opinion, the most effective tool for promoting social justice and hindering big business interests is the Constitution. However many people in the left have been conditioned to equate constitutionality with racism and become rapidly hostile.

Cain stated the obvious . How can decades of living off the democrap empty promises and race baiting politics be anything but brainwashed ignorance. The democraps gave us slavery , the KKK and Jim Crow . I know I grew up in Mississippi during the 50s and 60s and the democraps ran 100% of all elected and appointed political positions in that state and elsewhere in the south . It was the democraps like Ross Barnett and George Wallace that blocked blacks from schools not any repubs ! Anyone who supports their greatest oppressors has to be brainwashed or worse . The truth hurts ! this writer needs to grow up and quit acting like a neutered punk .

Just think of the uproar had a white man said it.

“No Mr. Cain, African Americans aren’t brainwashed, they’re just not going to toss caution to the wind because someone wearing a suit and tie with a lot of money decides he’s now a professional evaluator of human behavior.”

They sure stood in line for the last one wearing a suit, Obama, and look where that got them.

  8. Funny, I thought he was stupid for calling Ron Pauls’ stand on issues “stupid” and that he was smart for saying a great many blacks are brainwashed.

Sorry, I didn’t hear him say anything stupid. I think he is right, but I also think it is not about color, it is about culture. Those Blacks who are immersed in the Black Culture will vote with the group and vote for the chosen Democrat. Those Blacks who live outside the Black Culture are going to vote independently, they will think for themselves and hopefully they will vote for Ron Paul!

He’s correct…what’s the problem? Complain about Obama to 95% of black people (while being black)…you may get killed in the process…if you’re not black, you will be accused of being a racist.

Black America only cares about consuming goods. That’s what you get when you allow someone like Dr. King to “lead” you away from the last threads of the black economy in exchange for the “right” to vote and welfare.
    The man is correct.

It’s as simple as seeing with our eyes how well most Whites STILL live in their cushy neighborhoods,
Despite how seemingly confiscatory their taxes are, and whose Children’s biggest complaint is
that Banana Republic just ran out of Khakis.
      Gimme a break.

Cain is so far out of touch with the mentality of his own race of people that he must be the most clueless guy in the nation. Look, Mr. Pizza Man. Let this white guy explain how life works. Blacks vote for the party and for the politicians who promise to steal the biggest slice of the paychecks of mostly White middle class taxpayers and then promise to use that stolen loot to fund social entitlement programs and other goodies that are then awarded to Blacks in one form or another. So, this isn’t a case of ‘brainwashing’ – it is a simple case of Blacks voting for the party or politician who promises to look out after what Blacks perceive to be their ethnic specific interests. Heck, I would give anything if my fellow Whites could extract their heads from their hind parts and at least STOP voting for parties and politicians who deliberately push policies that HARM the legitimate, ethnic-specific interests of Whites. So, Blacks aren’t brainwashed – they are using their instincts to support the party that works for their interests – which always include working AGAINST the interests of the Whites who’s paychecks they are seeking to attach themselves to via confiscatory tax levels. For the GOP to compete with the Democrats for black votes, they’d have to promise to steal more from their White base than the Democrats do, and that would spell the death of the GOP. See how simple this is to understand?

He is right, though. It is true, blacks have been conditioned by circumstances to vote democratic.

He should have used the term “conditioned” rather than the more extreme expression “brainwashed”, which implies unconscious victims possibly subject to some deliberate influence. “Conditioning” would have been more correct and at the same time more acceptable. Conditioning takes place all the time, and does not necessarily imply any sinister influence or intent.

What an ignorant, stupid guy. Bad Herman Cain…BAD!! Next thing you know, he’ll be saying we have 57 states here in America, or taking about our inter-continental railroad system. That would be so embarrassing. We can’t have a dim bulb like that as president. God forbid!! I bet he would even say “Marine Corpse or call them CORPSE-MEN!!” No way Herman.

This is a stupid thing to say. Since when does a majority of any group of Americans have a brain?

Brainwashing is a misleading term in terms of the US public. They are programmed really.

    Wouldn’t “50%” be considered many?
